Admissions

Students are admitted to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School on a first come, first served basis, with special consideration given to the children of active, contributing parishioners of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with children enrolled in the school.

For admission to prekindergarten, students must turn 4 years of age by September 1.  Students entering kindergarten must turn 5 years of age by September 1. All first grade applicants must turn 6 years of age by September 1.

Admission for all students requires a legal birth certificate, updated immunization records, all sacramental records and any requested transfer documents from previous schools. All prospective students will be given a screening test to determine grade placement.  Candidates for middle school admission will also be interviewed by the principal.

The enrollment policy of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School does not discriminate with regard to race, ethnic background, health conditions, social or economic status or gender.  As a Catholic school. preference is given to members of the Roman Catholic Church, but we welcome members of other denominations.

Together, let us spend this year committed to a Catholic educational partnership as we support one another in helping your child to become the best person he/she is capable of being.  Once you have chosen to enter into a partnership with us at St. Elizabeth's, we trust that you will be loyal to this commitment.  During these formative years, your child needs constant support from parents and faculty in order to develop his/her moral, spiritual, intellectual, social, cultural and physical self.  Neither parents nor students can afford to doubt the sincerity of the efforts of their educational partner in the quest of challenging, yet nourishing, the student to reach his/her potential.  It is vital that both parents and teachers remember that allowing oneself to be caught between the student and the other partner will never have positive results.  Evidence of mutual respect between parents and the faculty and administration at St. Elizabeth's will model mature, Catholic behavior and relationships.
