Congratulations also to our 2017/2018 middle school House Captains:  St. Benedict - Hailey Harrington and Sarah James; St. Maximilian Kolbe - Maggie Forth and Jacob Nalagan; St. Paul - Sophie Starns and Julianne Rogers; St. Thomas Aquinas - Kayla Graybill and Sara Maupin;  St. Gregory the Great - Claire Kanaly and Abby Maupin, and St. John Neumann - Zach Armor and Claire Lyons.

A final congratulations to middle school teacher Kelli Miller and her husband Nick who welcomed their baby, Scarlett Ann, on Mother's Day morning.  Another future Cardinal is born!

As we close out another school year, we will saying farewell to a few faculty members:  Kelli Miller will be a full-time mom to baby Scarlett and Elizabeth Richards and Ashley Kellert are moving on to other professional endeavors.  We are grateful for their work and dedication to St. Elizabeth's during their time here and wish them all the best.

And finally, we are incredible grateful that you partnered with us this year for your children's Catholic education.  We would like to thank each and every family for your prayers, support and belief in the mission of the school. We are privileged to be entrusted with your most precious treasures, and you will remain in our prayers through the summer months. We look forward to reuniting with you in August if you are continuing at St. Elizabeth's and wish you the very best if your family is moving on. God bless each of you.

Watch DOGS
Thanks to Glen Hayes for serving as a Watch D.O.G. this week.

The drama productions that were postponed this past week due to severe weather have been rescheduled for Monday, May 22.  The 5th grade performance will be at 6pm and the middle school performance will be at 7pm.  Both performances will be in the youth room.

Campbell's Soup Labels
Campbell’s Soup Labels For Education program is ending this school year!  Please send in your soup labels, and cut them off any cans in your pantry, because we are mailing off for our final redemption at the beginning of summer.  Thank you for your years of support of this program for St. Elizabeth’s benefit. There is a list of collections in the monthly Seton Sentinel in which the school continues to participate.

PTO Officers 2017/2018
Thank you to all who attended the final general meeting of the PTO.  Newly elected officers for 2017/2018 are:  President Heidi McReynolds, Vice President Melissa Vollbrecht, Treasurer Kelli Bass and Secretary Jani VanGrevenhof.  We are grateful to the outgoing officers David Bernstein, Gant Lambertz and Pete Harrington for your service in leading the PTO and your support of the school.

Free Dress Week
If your child attended the Open House that was held on Sunday, April 2, he or she earned a week of free dress for next week, May 22-25.  Teachers have the list of their students who attended and have distributed the coupons.  Clothes must be school-appropriate and within handbook guidelines for length and modesty.   Please pay special attention to the length of shorts.  No hats, pajamas, costumes, etc. should be worn.  Sunday best for School Mass on Thursday, May 25.   Sock and shoe guidelines are the same as regular uniform days.

Final Report Cards
In a change from the past, final report cards will not be given out on the last day of school.  Because the fourth quarter doesn't end until the last day, grades can and will be taken up until May 24 and report cards will be mailed directly to you at your home address. Please remember that report cards cannot be sent if school accounts are not cleared.

Last Day of School
Our final day of school for the 16/17 school year will be Thursday, May 25. Students will be in class until we gather for Mass at 11:30. After Mass, students will return to their classrooms to pick up their belongings will be dismissed. No lunch will be served at school that day.  Please plan to pick up your children by 12:45pm using our regular carpool procedures. Cardinal’s Club will be open to those who are enrolled in that program, and those children should bring a sack lunch.

School Accounts
Please make sure that all school accounts – tuition, incidentals, CDC and cafeteria – have a zero balance by the last day of classes. Thank you for your attention to this.

School Supply Kits
Our PTO is one again offering pre-packaged school supply kits for every grade level for the upcoming school year.  The deadline to order is Friday, June 2.  A flyer with more details is attached to this email.  If you have questions, please contact Yolanda Worth, School Supply Coordinator at (405) 637‐9279 or This email address is being protected from spambots. Summer Enrichment
The “Summer Slide” is widely-known phenomenon in education that refers to the loss of academic knowledge that students experience during the summer months. Research suggests that the majority of students lose two months of grade-level equivalency in reading and math over the summer. If you are enrolled for next year at St. Elizabeth's,  you will be receiving a Summer Required Reading list for each of your students 1st-8th grade. Parents are asked to assist students in completing the required reading for his/her grade level before school starts. Please help our students avoid the summer slide by keeping them reading and practicing math skills over the summer.

Boys' Basketball Camp
Please ask to submit your Boys' Cardinal Hoops Camp basketball registration grades K-7 into the school office. Registration forms can be found in the May Seton Sentinel or across from the school office.

Summer Office Hours
Beginning Monday, June 5 until the end of July, the school office will be open on Wednesdays from 9am-3pm and on Thursdays from 9am-Noon. If you need assistance with any school business during the summer, please stop by during those times or call to make an appointment for an alternate time. The office will resume full-time hours on Tuesday, August 1.

Used Uniform Sale
Mark your calendars for our annual Used Uniform Sale. The sale will be in our school gym on Saturday, June 17 from 8am-12pm. Please check the May edition of the Seton Sentinel for more information on consigning uniforms and volunteering to help at the uniform sale.  Thanks to Jennifer Buffington for coordinating the sale again this year.
