September 2018

The first few weeks of school, your children and I have been getting to know each other.  They have been adjusting to the academic and behavior demands of 3rd grade.  There have been some ups and down, but I am happy to say that things are beginning to smooth out.

We are looking forward to learning cursive writing (D'Nealian is the style being taught).  This will be ongoing and once we learn all the letter, upper & lower case, we will begin writing in cursive.

In October, your child will betaking the ACT Aspire Tests.  We will be practicing with tutorials.  Please make sure your child has a good breakfast and, if possible, does not miss school during the testing.  You will advised as to the exact testing dates when they are available.
