Fall ALPHA Project

The students are currently working on a real-world based project called Travel Passport.  Each student will create a portfolio, display board and exhibit, give a formal classroom presentation, and informal presentation at then expo event.  For the Travel Passport project the students will plan every aspect of a trip from start to finish within a specified budget.

About Mrs. Weathers

Jamie Weathers is our ALPHA Coordinator.  Mrs. Weathers graduated from Covington-Douglas High School and earned a BS degree in Elementary Education from Oklahoma State University. She has previously taught at St. Francis Catholic School in Yuma, AZ.  Mrs. Weathers has also served as the Director of Religious Education and Catholic Community Coordinator at Yokota Air Base in Japan.  She grew up in Marshall, Oklahoma.  Mrs. Weathers and her husband have three children, and they attend St. Monica Catholic Church where she is a cantor in the choir and a member of the parish council.  Her hobbies include long-distance running, scrapbooking, and spending time with her family.
