Steps in the Admissions Process

  • 1. Submit Online Application

    Applications open October 1.

You willl be asked to include the following in your application:

    * Copies of previous school records, including any educational or diagnostic testing, standardized tests, transcripts (including home school), and report cards from the current year and previous year.

    * Name and email address of your selected references for:

         * Teacher - current or previous

         * Administrator - middle school only

    * Application fee of $100.00 at the time of submission

Reminder: PK3 applicants must be 3 years old by August 1, PK4 must be 4 years old by August 1, and Kindergarten must be 5 years old by August 1.

  • 2. Screening

After receiving the above requirements, the Admissions Office will schedule screening.  This is a placement test for reading and math.

  • 3. Student Shadow

Students applying for Kindergarten through 8th grade will shadow the school for a certain amount of time during a school day.  This is a great way for students to meet new friends and feel more comfortable coming to school at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton.  It will give you vital information on making your school decision.

  • 4. Parent Interview

An interview appointment will be made with the parent(s)/child and a school administrator. This interview is a time to answer questions you might have, determine the school's ability to meet the needs of your child, and assess philosophical compatability.

  • 5. Acceptance

Acceptance or non-acceptance will be communicated to all families starting February 1 and on a rolling basis. Families have 10 calendar days from the date of letter to accept enrollment.

If there are no spots available in the grade you are applying for, admissions will place your child in a wait pool.  If a spot opens, we will assess the most qualified student from the wait pool to fill that opening.

  • 6. Enrollment

If you are accepted admissions will send you a continuous enrollment contract through your FACTS account.  You will have 10 calendar days to complete the contract and submit it in order to be enrolled and save your spot. You will be prompted to pay a $500 annual commitment fee upon submission of the contract.

  • 7. Payment of Tuition and Fees

All families are required to setup a FACTS Financial Account to pay their tuition and fees. Tuition may be paid in full starting in August. Otherwise, it will be billed in a 10-month payment plan (August - May). An annual Academic/Safety Fee of $200 (elementary) or $250 (middle school) will be be billed to the family and may be paid out over time.

An Annual Commitment Fee of $500 for each new student must be paid at the time of enrollment acceptance.  Every year thereafter, the Annual Commitment Fee will be $350 per student.

  • 8. Financial Aid and Assistance

Financial aid applications are available January 1st each year and are due by April 30, 2025.

St. John's offers financial aid to assist students who could not otherwise afford to attend.  The current year's W2 or 1099 must be included with the application. Financial aid will be based on need and after the Parental Choice Tax Credit amounts are awarded. Families will then have 10 calendar days to accept or decline the award.
